Cheer Teams
The Cumberland Valley Youth Cheer Association offers a unique cheerleading program that allows all interested children to be cheerleaders. We have a "no-cut" policy and offer different levels of participation depending on age, level of interest, and experience.

Rookie Team
Ages 6 and under. Introduction to cheerleading; non-competitive; 15-week fall program. Cheer at 3 CVMFA home football games and participate in Mechanicsburg Halloween Parade and Exhibition at CV Cheer Classic along with 1-2 other local competitions. Season will run from August-November and begins August 3, 2021.
Mini Team
Ages 8 and under. Competitive fall team. Cheerleaders cheer at several CVMFA home football games, participate in Exhibition at CV Cheer Classic,
and compete in fall competitions. The season runs from August - December and begins August 3, 2021.
Pee Wee Red Team
Ages 10 and under (half season team). Cheerleaders cheer for several CVMFA home football games, participate in Exhibition at CV Cheer Classic,
and compete in fall competitions. The season runs from August - December and begins August 3, 2021.
Pee Wee White Team
Ages 10 and under (full season team). Cheerleaders cheer for several CVMFA home football games, participate in Exhibition at CV Cheer Classic,
and compete in both fall and winter competitions. The season runs from August - March and begins August 3, 2021.
Pony Team
Ages 12 and under (full season team). Cheerleaders cheer for several CVMFA home football games, participate in Exhibition at CV Cheer Classic,
and compete in both fall and winter competitions. The season runs from August - March and begins August 3, 2021.
